Stunning. This is one of the first bottles that I knew I had to upgrade from my sample to the full size, I'm OBSESSED.
It's a decadent, scrumptious, creamy chocolate cake scent that somehow manages to avoid being cloying. Gourmand, but not too gourmand. It's the perfect amount of sweet, and the chocolate has an almost dry dustiness that keeps it from becoming syrupy. Yum yum yum.
Would absolutely bathe in this if I could, especially on a cozy winter night.
The chocolate here on the dry down is *almost* reminiscent of the chocolate in Mugler's Angel, but without all the crazy Angel spiciness. I can't get enough!!!
Chocolate cake. Didn't think I would like this one because I haven't liked a chocolate scent yet, but I like this one! The chocolate isn't medicinal or bitter to me. I like it a lot in the dry down! Smells cozy.
A chocolate scented fragrance would not typically be something that I would gravitate to. However, this is far from your average chocolate scented fragrance.
Imagine freshly baked chocolate cake with thick chocolate frosting. Slowly the richness softens into the delicate scent of cocoa powder dusted across warm brownies. It's lighter than I expected, almost airy despite its indulgent notes. Yet it somehow manages to feel both decadent and comforting at the same time. This will be heavy rotation in my Fall scents lineup!
